In Pakistan, the entire country is almost without electricity due to the disaster in the national grid of electricity supply. Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar are without electricity in any major cities of the country.
The country’s central energy ministry said in a statement that this situation has arisen since Monday morning.
“According to preliminary information, a disaster occurred in the national grid around 7:34 this morning (local time), causing a major power outage. Quick work is being done to revive the system,” they said in the statement.
Pakistan’s Power Minister Khurram Dastgir told Geo television channel that after the commissioning of the transmission line on Monday morning, there were reports of frequent frequency changes in the area between Jamshro and Dadu cities in the southern part of the country.
