PV Online Report :  The Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection has fined 500 thousand taka for storing 500 sacks of sugar 
in the warehouse of an organization named Satata Traders in Halishahar of the city. Deputy Director of Chittagong National Consumer 
Rights Protection Directorate Mohammad Faizullah led the campaign on Tuesday (November 22) afternoon. He said that the owner of 
the shop kept about 500 sacks of sugar bought at the previous price. The wholesale price of which is 90 taka per kg. But now these 
sugars are being sold at Tk 107 per kg.

 For this, the company has been fined 50 thousand rupees. Besides, the organization has been instructed to sell sugar at the price set 
by the government.
