The decision was taken at a meeting of the Chittagong Road Transport Owners Group at the inter-district bus owners’ association office in the Kadamtali BRCT bus terminal area of ​​the city on Thursday (January 13th) afternoon, he said.

In a meeting chaired by Kafil Uddin Ahmed, senior vice-president of Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association, Manjurul Alam Manju, secretary general of Chittagong Road Transport Owners Group, said, We will make a written request to all including Chittagong Civil Surgeon, Police Commissioner so that all transport workers come under the vaccine. Because according to the decision of the government, all drivers and helpers have to be vaccinated. ‘

He further said, “All the buses and public transport will run from next Saturday in compliance with the health rules by keeping as many passengers as there are seats.” No extra rent will be charged. In addition, every passenger and driver-helper on the bus must have a face mask. No passenger can stand on public transport. We will have a monitoring team from Saturday. ‘
