PV Online Report : Vaccination of 12-17 year old students in three community centers of the city started from Monday. Among the three community centers in the city where the vaccination center has been set up are Rima Convention Center in Askar Dighi, Hall Seven-Eleven on Sirajuddaullah Road and Abdullah Community Center on Agrabad Anges Road. Students will be initially vaccinated at these three community centers until January 18.
Chittagong Deputy Civil Surgeon is in charge of coordinating the immunization activities of students Mohammad Asif Khan said “We have a target of vaccinating 25,000 students every day. Initially we have a schedule till January 18. Vaccination will still be given if needed”.
He said that only 12-17 year old students of the metropolis will be vaccinated in these community centers. As the number of students in the metropolis is high, immunization centers have been set up in community centers to speed up immunization. There are instructions to bring all students under vaccination by January 15. So this initiative has been taken.
