PV Entertainment Desk : Actress and model Eka was arrested from her residence at Hatirjheel in the capital on Saturday evening for allegedly torturing on her domestic help.
The house help Hazera Akhter was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Hafiz Al Faruk, additional deputy commissioner (Tejgaon Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed the matter.
On information that Eka tortured Hazera, a team of police rushed to the actress’s residence at Bandhu Nibash in West Rampura.
The house help was sent to the hospital while Eka was taken to the police station after showing arrest, he said.
A case is being filed against her, Hafiz Al Faruk added.
