In this age of globalization, women have come a long way. Eveteasing has become a terrible disease in our society.

Taekwondo can be an excellent way to prevent eveteasing. For this, Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation has to play more role.

He was speaking at the closing ceremony of the two-day ‘Mujib Centenary Third National Beach Taekwondo Competition-2021’ organized by the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and sponsored by Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited.

Mahmudul Islam Rana, general secretary of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation, presided over the event, which was held at the Laboni Point open stage on Cox’s Bazar beach on Tuesday (February 23rd). Special guests were FM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, Chairman of the Tournament Steering Committee and Joint-General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Sumon Dey, Raozan Upazila Awami League Vice-President Kamrul Islam Bahadur, Shyamal Palit, Shawkat Hossain, Sarju Md. Nasser, Hasan. Russell etc.

Sirajganj District Sports Association became the champion in the men’s category and Chittagong District Sports Association became the runner up. Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association is the champion in the women’s category and Gazipur District Sports Association is the runner up.
