PV Desk : The main congregation of the holy Eid-ul-Azha has been held at Dampara Jamiatul Falah Mosque in the city under the supervision of CCC.

Hazrat Allama Syed Abu Taleb Mohammad Alauddin Al Qaderi, Khatib of Jamiatul Falah Mosque and Muhaddith of Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Alia Madrasa, led the Eid Jamaat on Saturday (August 1) at 7:45 am.

At the end of the prayers, prayers are made to Allah for the welfare of the country and the nation. Due to the corona, the worshipers exchanged Eid greetings even though they refrained from hugging after the prayers.

Due to the drizzle from early morning, the devout worshipers performed their prayers inside the mosque following social distance and hygiene rules. The mosque committee has also arranged for hand washing with hand sanitizer and soap and water.

The second congregation was held in the same mosque at 9:15 am. Imam Hafez Maulana Ahmadul Haq presided over the second congregation at Jamiatul Falah.

According to CCC sources, Eid Jamaat was held at Laldighi Shahi Jame Mosque at 8:15 am. Eid Jamaat of Jalalabad Arefinnagar City Corporation Central Cemetery Jame Mosque was also held at 8:15 am.

Besides, Eid Jamaat was held at Hazrat Sheikh Farid (R) Chashma Eidgah Maidan, Chawkbazar City Corporation Jame Mosque and Ma Ayesha Siddique Chasik Jame Mosque (adjacent to Sagarika Jahar Ahmad Chowdhury Stadium) under the supervision of Chattogram City Corporation at 8 am.

In accordance with the hygiene and social distance, the main Eid Jamaat has been held in each of the 41 wards of the city under the supervision of councilors in their respective mosques. In the munajat, the worshipers complained to Allah to protect the country and the people of the country from the epidemic Corona virus.
