PV Desk : Chattogram MP MA Latif went to Bangkok, Thailand by renting an air ambulance for advanced treatment in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. Latif’s wife also went with him.
Latif left Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram for Bangkok by air ambulance around 11:30 pm on Friday.
His eldest son Omar Farooq told the media, “My father has been suffering from heart disease for a long time. He has also had open heart surgery. The illness increased over a month. He was admitted to the city’s Metropolitan Hospital last week. He was taken to Bangkok in an air ambulance hired for advanced treatment. He is scheduled to be admitted to a Bangkok hospital there. ”
MA Latif, a three-time Member of Parliament from Chattogram-11 (Port-Patenga) constituency. He has various levels of business including ship building, real estate, import-export. He has been the president of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry on several occasions.
