PV Sports Desk : After the Maldives, Bangladesh U-23 cricket team registered an overwhelming 10 wickets victory over Bhutan in the ongoing South Asian Games Cricket held at Tribhuvan University ground in Kirtipur.

Opted to bat first after winning the toss, Bhutan were restricted at a
paltry total of 69 from their allotted 20 overs in the face of tight bowling attacks by Bangladesh bowlers.

In the event, only four batsmen– Wangchuk Jr (15), Singye (13) Dorji (12) and Tobgay (10 n.o)– able to reach the double figure.

Manik Khan took two Bhutan’s wickets conceding only nine runs.

In reply, the two Bangladesh openers– Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Naim– took Bangladesh at home at ease in just 6.5 overs making 74 runs.
