PV Desk : President M Abdul Hamid today asked the Dhaka University authorities to take necessary measures to ensure a fair and academic-friendly environmental on the campus.
“Take necessary steps to ensure a fair and academic-friendly environment on the campus apart from the regular academic activities,” the President said as DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman called on him at Bangabhaban here this afternoon.
President’s Press Secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin told the media after the meeting.
Noting that the Dhaka University is country’s highest seat of learning with academic excellence, Abdul Hamid directed the DU authorities to give special emphasis on its environmental development.
The head of the state stressed the need for taking an integrated initiative to build students as worthy citizens engaging them in various social, cultural and science-based activities.
