PV Desk : A group of quota reform protesters have been attacked on the Dhaka University campus as they were preparing to hold a press conference.
The protesters have blamed the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) for the attack. The Awami League’s student wing has yet to release a statement on the allegations.

Students and job seekers have been protesting for several months, calling for reforms to the quota system for public sector jobs.

Though Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ‘announced’ the abolition of the quota system, the protesters have vowed to continue their demonstrations until the government issues an official notice on the matter.
