PV Desk : The bodies of the four children, who earlier went missing, were recovered from a pond in Hajiganj upazila of Chandpur Tuesday (June 5).
Locals informed the police after seeing the bodies floating in the pond in Randhonimura village under the municipality area, around 5am.
Hajiganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jabedul Islam told Banglanews that the children were missing since Monday night (June 4).
The deceased were aged around 9 to 11. Two of them are step-brothers, said the OC.
Identities of all of them couldn’t be known yet, he added.
