PV Desk : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over Eid gifts to twelve children of Sheikh Russel Distressed Children Training and Rehabilitation Center at Tongipara of Gopalganj on Saturday (June 2).
They (orphans) said they did not imagine of such a moment would happen in their lives. They will not forget this moment. These Eid gift items, from prime minister, will add extra joy to this coming Eid.
Orphan kids were overjoyed to receive Eid gifts from the prime minister. The orphans are from different districts of the country.
Eid gifts will be distributed among 300 children of Bangabandhu’s Mausoleum Complex.
Premier Sheikh Hasina, accompanied by Sheikh Rehana, the younger daughter of Bangabandhu, secretaries concerned to the prime minister and local Awami League leaders, joined a munajat (prayer) seeking eternal peace of departed souls of the Father of the Nation, Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15, 1975 massacre.
