PV Desk : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his mazar in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
The prime minister reached Tungipara, the ancestral home of Bangabandhu, at 10:55am and offered ziarat at his mazar, Banglanews district correspondent reports.
Sheikh Hasina along with her sister Sheikh Rehana joined a munajat (prayer) there seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu.
