PV Desk :Khorshed Alam Sujon, administrator of Chittagong City Corporation (CHC) has been freed from corona. He has been in isolation at home since the corona positive report came out on Wednesday (January 7) evening.
His wife Corona was also positive at the time.
Confirming the receipt of the Corona negative report from the Ma O Shishu Hospital on Thursday (January 21st), Sujan said, “I am grateful to the countless Awami League workers, supporters and well-wishers at home and abroad for praying for me.”
Since I have been by the side of the city dwellers at every moment since I took over as the administrator of CCC, I want the tireless cooperation of the city dwellers so that I can carry out my responsibilities smoothly. InshaAllah, we will be able to build this city as a beautiful, clean, aesthetic and humane city through our joint efforts.
Sujan took over as the administrator on August 8 after the term of AJM Nasir Uddin, the mayor of the fifth elected council of CCC, expired on August 5. The government has appointed Khorshed Alam Sujan as the administrator of CCC as the election was not held on time due to global epidemic, waterlogging and landslides in Chittagong. CCC elections will be held next Wednesday (January 26).
