PV Desk : A mobile court has fined 60 people for coming out of the house without wearing face masks as per government directives to prevent coronavirus infection.

The mobile court on Monday (November 23rd) conducted the drive at the city’s New Bridge, Alankar, Dewanhat, Kotwali, Railway Station, Oxygen and CRB areas and realized the fines.

The drive was led by the district administration executive magistrate SM Alamgir, Ashraful Alam, Suraiya Yasmin, Ghalib Chowdhury and Nurjahan Akter Sathy.

Magistrate SM Alamgir led the operation in the new bridge area of ​​the city. He fined 11 people Tk 2,200 in 10 cases for not wearing masks.

Dewanhat and Kotwali area led by Magistrate Ashraful Alam. He fined 15 people Tk 15,200 in 31 cases for not wearing masks.

Magistrate Suraiya Yasmin led the operation in the railway station area of ​​the city. He fined 18 people in 10 cases 1,600 taka for not wearing masks.

Magistrate Ghalib Chowdhury led the operation in Oxygen area of ​​the city. He fined 10 people Tk 3,000 in 10 cases for not wearing masks.

Magistrate Nurjahan Akhter Sathy led the operation in the CRB area of ​​the city. She fined 6 people 540 taka in 6 cases for not wearing masks.
