PV Desk : While bringing yaba from Cox’s Bazar, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two persons after searching a bus of Marcha Paribahan in Patiya Bypass area of Patiya Upazila. 18 thousand 540 pieces of yaba have been recovered from them.
The RAB informed about their detention on Saturday (September 26).
The two arrested are- Chandpur district Sadar upazila own tree area. Imam Hossain’s daughter Sumi Akter (20) and Md. Betagi area of Barguna district. Anisur Rahman’s son said. Ismail Hossain Sajib (21). They live in Mirpur area of Dhaka.
RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) Mahmudul Hasan Mamun told the media that while bringing yaba from Cox’s Bazar, they searched a bus of Marcha Paribahan in Patiya bypass area of Patia upazila and arrested the two. 16 thousand 540 pieces of yaba have been recovered from them. They have been handed over to Patiya police station.
