PV Desk : City Corporation Administrator Khorshed Alam Sujan said, “My work will speak. I have expressed my determination to contribute to the realization of the rights of the city dwellers with my maximum. This requires the cooperation and goodwill of the city dwellers.
The CCC administrator made the remarks while inspecting the sidewalks and roads on Monday from Kadamtali flyover via Majhirghat Stand Road to the Dewanhat junction.
The administrator warned everyone to take over the business infrastructure under the Kadamtali and Dewanhat flyovers and illegally occupied sidewalks. CCC warned that otherwise the mobile court would be in a tough position to run.
The hawkers present at the time requested the administrator to make alternative arrangements to keep their business afloat and the administrator assured them of full cooperation in running the business by clearing the sidewalk.
The administrator seized the pipes from the public toilets at the intersection of Station Road and New Market while selling water illegally and instructed to stop the sale of water.
In this context, Sujan said, “I have information that some unscrupulous people are selling CCCwater to satisfy their own interests.” Which is in no way acceptable. So stop selling this water from today.
‘Everything will be monitored by me. At the same time the lease of public toilets will be canceled. Strict action will be taken if anyone is found involved in such activities. ’
“I will continue my efforts to bring back the lost glory and heritage of Chattogram,” he said. During my tenure, I will set up a guideline for the development of Chattogram city. So that the latter can follow it.
