PV Desk : No student from 41 educational institutions has been able to come out successful in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, according to examination results published on Wednesday (July 17).

Of them, 33 institutions are under the eight general education boards which were 35 in 2018 while rests are from Bangladesh Madrasa and Vocational Education Boards.

Meanwhile, under eight general education boards, the number of educational institutions with cent percent pass rate is 71 this year against last year’s 112.

A total of 73.93 percent students passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations this year.

As many as 47, 286 students achieved GPA 5.

The results were officially unveiled by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from her official residence-Gonobhaban on Wednesday (July 17).

Education Minister Dipu Moni handed over the copy of the HSC results to the premier around 10 am.
