PV Desk : The government imposed a restriction on the celebration of the 31st night on the eve of New Year 2019 ahead of the 11th general election.

Neither open-air program nor rooftops gathering will be allowed to celebrate the 31st night (December 31), DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said while briefing media on security measures ahead of the New Year.

The directives were given about security and traffic on Eve of Christmas of and the coming 31st night at DMP headquarters on Wednesday (December 19).

Moreover, all sorts of gatherings, playing of loud music, dancing, concerts, fireworks, crackers, DJ parties, blowing of balloons are also not allowed on the 31st night, the Commissioner said.
