PV Online Report : A multi-storied building will be constructed for the Central Cooperative Bank Limited in the bank office area in Andarkilla, said the president of the bank’s management committee and former city mayor AJM Nashir Uddin.
He said these things at the 49th Annual General Meeting of Chittagong Central Cooperative Bank Limited at Theater Institute Auditorium in the city on Tuesday.
He said that the necessary preparations and processes for the construction of the bank’s building have started. All activities are being completed with permission from Chittagong Development Authority and related organizations.
For this, the process of appointing a consulting firm is also underway. Hope we can start the construction of modern multi-storied building soon. Chittagong Divisional Cooperative Office joint registrar Ashish Kumar Barua said in the chief guest’s speech that the government is implementing multifaceted initiatives at the grassroots level through cooperative banks to improve the quality of life of the people of Bangladesh. The timely action of the Central Co-operative Bank has ushered in new horizons to make the agro-industrial sector of the country self-reliant.
Chittagong District Cooperative Officer Murad Ahmed, Chittagong Central Cooperative Bank Limited Management Committee Vice President Mohammad Mozammel Haque, Government Nominated Member Mohammad Sajjad, Member Mujibur Rahman, Member Shawkat Ali and Central Cooperative spoke as special guests under the direction of Chittagong Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. Shah Erfanul Haque, Officer-in-Charge of Bank Limited and others.
